History of Basketball
The history of basketball begins with the invention of the game in Springfield, Massachusetts in the United States. Canadian James Naismith invented the first basketball game. He published 13 rules for the game. He divides his class of 18 into two groups of 9 players and set about to teach them the basic of his game. The games were very popular and still are. A soft lobbing shot is one type of shot. Basketball is different today because they improved it with many different things.
