Abel Tesfaye who goes by the weeknd is a 25 year old Canadian PBR&B singer-songwriter, recording artist, and record producer. In late 2010, Tesfaye anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd". Since Abel's father was never around when he was growing up, and his
mother was constantly working, his grandmother took care of him most of
his young life.
