Volunteer Opportunities

  • International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations: Offers 4-week exchange clerk-ships for med students who are members of IFMSA - USA. 
  • Health Volunteer Overseas: HVO volunteers are trained health care professionals who donate their time and expertise to work side-by-side with their colleagues in developing countries.
  •  Eskenazi Health: For volunteers 14-19, we have a summer program called volunTEEN designed to engage our youth in the workings of health care and teach the value of service.
  • Peace Corps: One year program that places anywhere in the country; in medical and nursing schools aboard to train the next generation of health-care capacity in countries that face critical shortages of providers. Must be 18 or older to volunteer.
  • Senior care Health Center: Opportunities available: Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Support clinic services by greeting patients as they enter the clinic, filing, making reminder calls, assembling packets and other educational materials, restocking supplies and other clerical needs.
